Tameisha-Campbell

Tameisha is an Instructional Designer with over 10 years of experience in the field of learning and development. As an instructional designer she delivers engaging, concise and effective learning solutions with clean design. With a strong background working in educational institutions; K-12 and higher-ed, she has developed and evaluated curriculum for various subjects, used data to analyze effectiveness, and delivered instruction in a variety of formats including face to face, blended, and online. Having spent time in the role of Equity Liaison in the public school system, she has implemented cultural inclusivity into instruction and learning materials. She is looking forward to translating her skills and experience to support the initiatives of the Minnesota Child Welfare Training Center, allowing her to continue advocating for children.

What is your job title, and what will you be doing?

  • Instructional Design Specialist, supporting curriculum projects, courses and partnerships with external partners, vendors, and DHS policy teams. 

Tell us about your education and/or work experience prior to joining the MNCWTA. 

  • I have a BS from the University of Florida, Certificate in Instructional Design, and am a licensed educator certified in multiple subjects. I've spent 13 years in learning and development in various roles such as Instructional Designer, Professional Learning Facilitator, Instructor and Equity Liaison. I have a strong background working for educational institutions; K-12 and higher-ed. Most of my work has centered around instructional design, curriculum development, and delivering instruction in a variety of formats including online, face to face and blended. As an Equity Liaison in the public school system, I've spent time implementing cultural inclusivity into instruction, learning materials and school to community events.

  •  I love being able to use both my creative and analytical side to create one masterpiece.

  • Professionally, I am passionate about designing and developing engaging, concise and effective learning solutions with clean design.

What are you most passionate about personally?

  • Personally, I am passionate about adding value to the communities around me, engaging in community and economic development. 

What are you surprisingly good at? (or what do you wish you were good at)?

  • Colleagues have described me as being diplomatic. I genuinely enjoy working with people and being able to see things from different perspectives, working to find a common solution. 

What do you like to do outside of work?

  • I enjoy spending time in nature and discovering picturesque locations hidden from plain sight.
