Elearner Project Coordinator; I will be joining the LMS team in supporting our Child Welfare learners as they create new portal accounts, register for courses, progress through our Canvas courses, and assist with pulling data and reports as needed.
Tell us about your education and/or work experience prior to joining the MNCWTA. I received my bachelors degree from Concordia University St Paul in elementary education. While working towards my degree in elementary education I worked as a reading tutor for MN Reading Corps in the Osseo School District for 2 years. For the last 6-7 years I have worked as an elementary education teacher in varying roles. I started off my teaching career in a charter school as a long-term substitute in pre-k, kindergarten, 3rd grade, and special education. From there I moved to Anoka Hennepin School district and worked as a special education teacher. Then the last two years I worked at a STEAM school in Osseo Areas Schools as a science and gifted education teacher.

What are you surprisingly good at? (or what do you wish you were good at)? Growing up on a farm for part of my life you definitely pick up a unique set of skills.
