Learn more about Brittany Koneczny Palm, the new Training Operations Specialist at Minnesota Child Welfare Training Academy!

Brittany-Koneczny-Palm

What will you be doing? I will be supporting the training team and our co-directors, Liz and Tracy.

Tell us about your education and/or work experience prior to joining the MNCWTA. I have been working with children and families for the majority of my career and have been specifically within the child welfare space since 2017. I’ve done direct practice work with a local adoption agency and most recently I worked as a program coordinator at Zero Abuse Project with their ChildFirst program.

What do you enjoy most about your work? I love knowing that the work I am doing is going to help children and families and make our community a better, safer place for all.

What are you surprisingly good at? I'm a really fast reader! I try not to start new books unless I know I can finish it in one sitting.

What do you like to do outside of work? I love to read, play card and board games with my husband, and play with my kids.

What else should we know about you? I am so excited to be working with the Academy. The work being done here will be life-changing for kids in our state and to have even a small role in that is what makes it easy to come to work every day.
