Our Learning Management System (LMS) team is currently working to clean-up the course completion data in our Training Portal for all past courses. This project is necessary to ensure consistency in reporting and course progress going forward. What this means is that anyone who has completed an instructor-led course (virtual or in-person) through the Training Academy over the past few years may receive a few automated emails.

Learners will get an email notification for each older course that the Required Assignment: Attest Course Completion Assignment has been graded.

Past Specialty and Foundations courses will soon reflect one of the following three completion statuses: Complete, Incomplete, or No-Show. The email(s) will include a link to view the assignment and grade in Canvas (the LMS program we use). The following chart explains the reason for each status:

Training Portal learners can always check their final completion grades on their training record (learning.umn.edu). Learn more about accessing your training record here.
