Each month in our newsletter, The Acorn, we share a snapshot of Training Academy activity across Minnesota. This Training Data section of The Acorn includes a graphic that highlights the month’s key training numbers, with a link to the full monthly training report for those interested in exploring the data in more detail. These numbers show the reach of our training, from the courses offered to the child welfare professionals participating in learning opportunities across the state.

With the launch of the Addressing Disparities and Disproportionality: MAAFPCWDA (CWTA X224) training on June 29, 2026, our June and July training data have now been updated to include this new training. The revised and complete June Training Report and July Training Report are now available.

If you are one of many learners who still needs to complete the Addressing Disparities and Disproportionality: MAAFPCWDA (CWTA X224) course, the Training Academy will continue to schedule additional offerings until all Minnesota county agency child protection workers have had the chance to register. We appreciate your patience during this process.

Learners can also help us make training spots available to their colleagues by dropping a training as soon as they know they are no longer able to attend. In the updated report, you will see that some offerings of CWTA X224 have less than 25 completions. Some of these open seats are the result of registered learners not attending. We understand that schedules change, so canceling your registration as soon as possible will help us offer that spot to someone on the waitlist. Instructions for dropping a course are linked here. If you ever forget or don’t have time to drop the course yourself, just email us at info@mnchildwelfaretraining.com.
