  1. Tell us about your education and/or work experience prior to joining the MNCWTA. I completed my master's degree at the University of Minnesota in Human Resource Development and spent the next 6 years working at the School of Social Work in their administrative office. In 2019 I transitioned to the Training Academy.
  2. What do you enjoy most about your work? I enjoy the people of the Academy and feel incredibly privileged to work at an organization that has the ability to make real change in the lives of children and families in Minnesota.
  3. What are you surprisingly good at? I am surprisingly good at fixing things. I enjoy the challenge of determining what's wrong, researching solutions, and using trial and error to resolve the problem. I've repaired many of our old appliances and have rewired all of the outlets in our home.
  4. What do you like to do outside of work? I love spending time with my husband, daughter, and golden retriever. Lately we've been enjoying this beautiful fall weather with nightly walks, playing in the leaves, and warming up by the fire. We might be in the minority, but we're looking forward to the first snowfall of the season!
